About Me
Hello! My name is Christiana, and I am from Texas. I have been a member of the Girl Scouts since the second grade, and I am currently a senior in high school. Girl Scouts has been an integral part of my life, and I have cherished every moment of it. I have earned my Bronze Award, Silver Award, and I had the privilege of attending the Biomedical Engineering Destinations program sponsored by Texas Instruments in 2022. In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, watching sports, and spending quality time with family and friends.
My Story
This website is part of my Gold Award Project for the Girl Scouts of the USA. Inspired by my mom's experiences as a school nurse, I became aware of the rising issue of adolescent substance abuse both locally and nationally. Curious about the resources available to middle-school students, I found that the education covered all bases, but I wanted to contribute to and build upon their introductory knowledge. Therefore, I partnered with healthcare professionals and the local police department to create Facts for the Future, a program dedicated to providing detailed information and a personalized approach to this critical issue.
